Information Security team leader
About The Position
mPrest Defense is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Team Lead for a significant and challenging role, tailored for professionals with deep knowledge and experience in infrastructure and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Managing and leading the cybersecurity team, including professional mentoring and personal development of team members
- Leading risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability mitigation processes
- Overseeing the operation of EDR, NAC, WAF, Proxy, content filtering, and email security systems
- Managing and maintaining firewall systems and additional communication infrastructure
- Securing cloud environments and Microsoft 365, including OS and application protection
- Deploying and upgrading cybersecurity solutions in complex environments
The role includes a combination of hands-on technical work and managerial responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity
- Minimum 2 years of managerial experience leading cybersecurity/infrastructure teams
- Ability to implement security policies and procedures
- Extensive experience with network equipment – switches, routers, firewalls – preference for CCNA, CCSA certifications
- Strong knowledge of WAF, DLP, VPN, Proxy, EDR technologies
- Significant experience working with Windows/Linux servers
- Familiarity with security risk management and information security standards
- Security clearance – a major advantage
