About the Role
As a Product Maker (Forward Deployed Engineer) at mPrest, you will serve as the core engine driving ideas into reality. In this role, you bridge the gap between market needs, complex technical architectures, and R&D execution. You will analyze customer requirements, simplify multi-layered system integrations, and leverage modern tech tools and AI workflows to plan and validate high-impact solutions for mission-critical systems.

Turn high-level concepts and operational challenges into concrete, scalable product solutions—fast. You will embed with client environments and collaborate closely with R&D teams to design technical solutions that solve real-world enterprise problems where it matters most.
Requirements
Product Strategy & Market Execution
- Idea-to-Reality Execution: Proven ability to take abstract ideas, customer needs, and market gaps and drive them end-to-end into viable, implemented solutions.
- Market Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Deep experience in analyzing market dynamics, uncovering client pain points, and defining comprehensive product requirements.
- Solution Planning & Tech Alignment: Skill in structuring product solutions that align client needs with current technological capabilities, architectural constraints, and company roadmap goals.
Complex System Architecture & Integrations
- Architecture Abstraction: Exceptional talent for grasping, simplifying, and abstracting highly complex system architectures and intricate multi-system integrations into clear, actionable product blueprints.
- Systemic Domain Vision: Strong experience with enterprise-grade software, Command and Control (C2) systems, or large-scale operational platforms.
- Problem Solver at Core: Ability to identify operational friction points in live environments and define precise, high-impact technical solutions.
Technical Acumen & R&D Alignment
- Speaking “Engineering”: Deep understanding of system architecture, API/integration flows, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to communicate fluently with R&D and engineering leaders.
- AI-Enabled Workflows: Practical familiarity with modern AI tools and low-code ecosystems to accelerate concept validation, specification, and delivery without relying on dedicated design output.
Operations & Customer-Facing (The FDE Aspect)
- The Bridge: Proven track record acting as the ultimate link between R&D, Product Strategy, and Client Operations.
- Enterprise Client Facing: Excellent interpersonal skills to work directly with large-scale enterprise clients, validate requirements in real time, and adapt solutions to field constraints.
Key Requirements & Practical Qualifications
- Execution Track Record: 3+ years of experience turning complex product concepts and customer requirements into shipped enterprise solutions.
- Complex System Comprehension: Demonstrated ability to quickly map, simplify, and articulate complex system architectures and integration ecosystems.
- Market & Customer Requirement Analysis: Proven experience leading product scoping, market research, and translating customer demands into technical product specs.
- R&D & Engineering Fluency: Deep knowledge of software development processes, system integrations, and technical feasibility to ensure seamless handoffs to R&D.
- Client-Facing & Field Scoping: Strong ability to interface directly with enterprise users, understand real-world operational context, and validate product direction.
- AI & Modern Product Stack: Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and modern productivity frameworks for rapid scoping, specification, and validation.
