Security & Network Engineer
About The Position
mPrest is looking for an experienced and highly qualified Security & Network Engineer to join our Global Core Infrastructure team in HQ offices in Petach Tikva.
Responsibilities
- Full Network Lifecycle Management: Responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of network and network security infrastructure.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Manage and maintain the enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Security & Audits: Maintain security inventories and perform regular infrastructure audits.
- Perimeter Defense: Define, implement, assess, and maintain necessary controls to protect the network and internet perimeters in accordance with corporate security requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in network and systems administration.
- Deep knowledge of L2/L3 networking technologies and protocols (VLANs, PIM, IGMP, Multicast, etc.).
- Proven hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls.
- Proven hands-on experience with Cisco and Dell switches.
- Hands-on experience in storage infrastructure integration, including iSCSI/FC connectivity, HBA configuration, and Multipathing (MPIO).
- Independent and responsible team player, with proven planning and execution capabilities.
- CCNA certification is required; CCNP – a significant advantage.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS / Azure) – an advantage.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (O365) security solutions – an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Network Engineering: Strong proficiency in Cisco environments, LAN, WAN, and WLAN architectures.
- Routing & Switching: Deep knowledge of networking and dynamic routing protocols.
- Lifecycle & Upgrades: Hands-on experience with hardware and software upgrades for switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Documentation: Ability to create high-quality technical and non-technical documentation, including network diagrams using MS Visio.
